Not a full itinerary. One thing you actually need to settle, and the evidence you find while settling it. The record grows from that, and it is the evidence — not the conclusion — that saves you the second time.
A first week that works
Five steps, in order
1
Name the Trip and its first chapter.
A chapter is a stay, a movement between places, or something you are only considering. Your first planning question goes straight into the Queue.
2
Record what you already believe.
Constraints that cannot move, and the option you are starting from. Both are saved as your own dated input, visibly unresearched, so a later session does not mistake a hunch for a finding.
3
Answer one question, and save the source.
Whatever you learn, record where it came from, the date you saw it, and what that source could not tell you. That last part is what makes it useful in three months instead of misleading.
4
Compare, then decide separately.
Add your own criteria and rank what you have. Deciding is its own step, with a reason and a revisit condition — and Chosen never means Confirmed.
5
Put the confirmation where the plan is.
When you book something yourself, elsewhere, record the reservation and upload the PDF. That is the thing you will most want to find again.
Two kinds of help
Manual, or connected. Both are real.
Manual — what exists now
You pick a question, and the workspace builds a bounded brief from what you saved. Before you copy it you see exactly what it includes and what it deliberately leaves out: other Trips, unrelated chapters, anything you marked sensitive, and every reservation, document record, and uploaded file.
You paste it into the assistant you already trust and pay for. This product has no relationship with that service and cannot tell that you did it. You bring the answer back and record it with its source.
Connected — live, and not yet proved with a named client
You can connect the AI you already use, at /mcp. The endpoint is deployed and protected: an unauthenticated request is answered with a real OAuth challenge, not a closed door. Signing in is the approval — there is no second screen to find afterwards — and no named client is claimed to work until one has been proved end to end here. Expect the setup to take minutes rather than seconds, and expect it to stop twice for the two steps nobody can do for you: signing in, and clicking Allow.
Behind it are twenty-three Travel tools across thirteen scopes, six of which write; a permission ceiling nothing can raise; and a connection you can widen, narrow, or revoke at your connection settings. Connecting grants all of them — signing in is the approval, and it is the approval for everything. That settings page only narrows: you switch off anything you would rather it did not do, and no connection can switch one back on. The grant is re-read on every call, so revoking takes effect on the very next request rather than whenever a token expires. Revocation existed before connection did, on purpose.
One thing no tool here does: add to your Queue. That list is what youasked for, and every count in the product means that. When your AI thinks of something you did not ask for, it goes to AI Suggestions, where it waits and counts toward nothing until you accept it.
What is missing is the round trip itself. A client can now identify itself: the sign-in provider publishes a registration_endpoint, and a client that follows discovery is issued an identity, verified on 2026-08-17 by registering one. What has not happened is a real assistant going all the way through — sign in, consent, read, save, revoke — so no client is named here until one has.
Either way, the same rule holds: a recommendation is not a decision, and a decision is not a booking. You make both yourself.
What it will not do
Book, hold, pay for, or cancel anything.
Log in to a provider, or store a confirmation code or provider login.
Research on its own, or treat a generated fact as current.
Put your files, reservations, or sensitive notes into a brief.
Share a Trip. Plans are private, and sharing is not built.
Answer you. Nothing you write here reaches a person, and this site has no email address.
When you do need a person: every Assist With site is supported at Assist With Life support. Bring the question there and say it is about Assist With Travel.
